Amazon shoppers may now be able to claim money from a massive class action settlement tied to Amazon Prime subscriptions.
The settlement comes from a lawsuit filed by the Federal Trade Commission against Amazon over Prime sign-up and cancellation practices. The case resulted in a multi-billion-dollar settlement approved by the court on September 25, 2025.
Who Qualifies?
You may qualify if:
• You live in the United States
• You signed up for Amazon Prime between June 23, 2019 and June 23, 2025
• You enrolled through certain Prime sign-up flows included in the lawsuit
• You used 3 or fewer Prime benefits during a 12-month period
How Much Could You Get?
Eligible consumers may receive up to $51 for Prime membership fees paid during the covered time period.
Two Types of Payments
Automatic Payments
Some eligible consumers will automatically receive payment without needing to submit a claim.
Automatic payments were scheduled to begin within 90 days of the court approval.
Claim Process Payments
Other consumers may need to submit a claim to receive compensation.
